BMW M3: the lowdown
This is the first look at BMW’s new M3 production car. You’ve seen the concept, you’ve heard the new V8 engine howl on this website, but today (April 7) CAR Online brings you eight pictures of the flagship 3-series coupe. The big news with the fourth-generation M3 is the switch to a 4.0-litre V8 engine, which produces some 80bhp more than the outgoing 3.2-litre six.
THE FORD MUSTANG has been voted Europe’s most wanted classic car with 37% of those polled saying they would love to have the American sports car in their garage. "Ford Mustang is more than a car, it’s the freedom of the open road and the spirit of performance driving," said Roelant de Waard, vice president, Marketing, Sales and Service, Ford of Europe. "Mustang has been a fundamental part of global automotive culture for almost half a century and is one of the world’s most recognisable vehicles."
Launched in 1964, Mustang became an instant sensation and inspired millions of people.

Rare sketches from John Delorean's personal notes have ended up on Ebay - revealing plans for a 1970s 'luxury sedan'. If the notes are genuine, they include 24 pages of writing and sketches made between October 1976 and December 1976. They're claimed to have come from the corporate records of the Delorean Motor Company, which were seized as a result of bankruptcy in the early 1980s.
